Transport Options
Bus:
There are many different bus options to choose from when arriving from Medellin the easiest option is to arrive at the terminal norte bus station in Medellin and go to booth #15 The bus company is called Flota granada. They have direct buses to Cocorna and the surrounding towns. Make sure to ask the driver to stop at our office on the main highway 10 kms before you enter the town of Cocorna. Also any bus heading towards Bogota, San Luis, San Francisco, Rio Claro, La Dorada, these buses will all pass by our office on the main Medellin to Bogota highway 69 kms from Medellin. Bus costs range from 10,000 Colombian pesos to 15,000 Colombian pesos per person.
From Bogota just take a bus to Medellin but ask to get off in Cocorna make sure the bus route passes by Cocorna first as sometimes they must defer to other routes because of landslides or construction.
Private transport:
The quickest and most efficient way to travel in Colombia is by private transport. Insuring you arrive at your destination in a safe and legal way with insurance. The driver will pick you up at your hotel wait for you while you enjoy your tours and then drive you back to your hotel in the evening working on your time schedule. From Medellin or Guatape to Cocorna private transport can range from 280 000 to 300 000 Colombian pesos for up to 4 people.
Helicopter:

Moto: One of the most adventurous ways to travel in Colombia is by motorcycle. You can rent a motorcycle from Medellin, Bogota, or Guatape and arrive at our destination by taking the less traveled roads and scenic routes.
