RAFTING
We offer many different scenic and adventure rafting trips that meander through a variety of lush Colombian landscapes. Rafting is one of the best ways to truly experience what a country has to offer – rivers wind their way through tropics to deserts reaching high andean mountains and falling into the sea we are able to catch a glimpse of the wildlife that thrive in each different region, cross through villages and towns with vivid culture with smiling local faces.

Day Trip
Our classic day trip is on the spectacular tropical Rio Calderas. This trip starts at our beautiful base location in Cocorná Colombia at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. every day. Hop on our private shuttle for a lovely 30-minute drive through lush countryside and mountains to the river’s put in. The guided trip is 2.5 hours in length on the river, stopping for a refreshment of delicious fruit, juice, and other local favorites about halfway through the river trip – you might even see a macaw while you’re taking a break! Finish the trip off with a shuttle back to our base, where our restaurant, La Cabana, offers delicious local and American-style food, and of course ice cold beverages! The Rio Calderas section is Class III/IV exciting rapids waterfalls and clean crystal clear pools to swim in. Our custom 10ft rafts especially made for this river will leave any adventure thrill seeker satisfied. offered to ages 13 and above.

Rio Verde
Our Rio Verde multi-day is a wonderful way to enjoy the sunshine of Colombia while surrounded by lush green mountains brimming full of flora and fauna. You will meet at our base location to depart for the trip in the morning and head to the river, enjoy a 1 hour shuttle drive that winds its way through small towns and changing landscape. Once you arrive at the put-in we take care of everything. Enjoy two days full of rapids ranging from Class I to Class IV with all equipment and necessities provided by Freak’n Creek’n. Our highly experienced raft guides not only guide you through the river and its rapids but also will cook fresh meals for both days and help set up camp for the night, hammocks and tarps provided. Rio Samana
Sign up for our Rio Samana multi-day trip to experience one of Colombia’s most beautiful and diverse canyons. This trip is geared for the more adventurous with two days packed full of exhilarating Class IV+ rapids. The canyon offers a multitude of plant and wildlife; even sloths can be seen for those with sharp eyes! Meet at our base location the morning of the trip to hop in the provided shuttle – sit back, relax, and enjoy the 1.5 hour drive to the river’s put in. Freak’n Creek’n provides all equipment and necessities, our highly experienced raft guides will lead both days of adventure as well as cook all meals and help set up camp for the night, hammocks and tarps provided. Rio Verde/ Rio Samana
Only for the very most adventurous!! The Rio Verde/Rio Samana combines our two classic multi-day trips into one five-day trip, starting in the Rio Verde moving toward the Rio Samana canyon and beyond. This multi-day trip will test your limits and set your adrenaline on fire, never a respite from the amazing adventure. All is provided on this trip – our experienced staff members guide every moment, all meals are provided and cooked fresh each day, and all camping gear is included. Offered to ages 16 and above.
